About Us

Anthony & Megan started their journey with fermentation about 8-9 years ago. Megan was having a lot of stomach issues. She tried multiple medications, and nothing was working. She found kombucha at the store and read about its probiotic benefits, and decided to try it.  Kombucha quickly became a staple to their household! 


The couple decided to start brewing kombucha at home. They started sharing with friends and family.  After kombucha brewing: then came sauerkraut, kimchi, and anything else they could ferment!

They started to sell at their local farmers’ market in May 2019.  They quickly grew and needed to up the production, so they started to rent a commercial kitchen as of September 2020. This allows them to sell in stores and expand their customer base. 

​FAMILY FIRST:

Anthony & Megan have one daughter, Parker. She is 14 years old. Parker has been through a lot in her life. She was born with amniotic band syndrome and has worn a prosthetic since she was 10 months old. In early 2013, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer, she fought hard and is now celebrating 9 years cancer-free!  

These challenges they have faced have made them stronger, closer, and most of all, grateful for one another! When starting Ferm Fresh, this was a huge determining factor, "to be together," says Megan.
